IGC 2026 – Event Selection Form
Note that this form is used for both Competing Students and Family and Friends Program members this year (just select your designation in the form itself). The Event Selection Period runs through 11:59 PM PDT (i.e. San Franciso / Los Angeles time) on Saturday, June 20. Please consult the 2026 International Geography Championships Syllabus when selecting your events.
IGC 2026 – Schedule Change Request Form
Please use this form if you are making a minor edit (i.e. adding / dropping an event). Events added during the Event Selection Period (i.e. through 11:59 PM PDT [i.e. San Franciso / Los Angeles time] on June 20) will be accepted automatically as long as they do not go over the field cap limits for the few events (i.e. each half day Field Trip, and the Melee) for which there are field caps. Schedule changes made after June 20 are subject to IAC permission. Further guidelines may be issued regarding with events will still remain open for adding after June 20, but you should assume nothing will be open. In particular, it is much less likely that events will be permitted to be added after June 30, and especially during IGC itself.
If need to make more than 3 changes to your events, please fill out a new Event Selection Form, and select all of your events again (not just the ones you are adding). This will then overwrite your original Event Selection Form.

Please note the following, and be sure to have read through the Costs and Terms and Conditions prior to registering.
- International Academic Competitions does not consider a participant “registered” and will not add a student to the List of Attending Students until not only we have received their registration, but also their payment. In particular, to be eligible to sign up for field trips and competitions, participants will need to have their payments submitted before they can do that.
- We do not accept credit card payments for the International Geography Championships. We only accept payments by US dollar denominated checks from USA bank accounts, wire transfers, or cash payable in US dollars or Euro equivalent at the 2027 IAC US National Championships, 2027 IAC European Championships, or 2027 IAC Asian Championships.
- Payment is not required at the time that the registration is completed. Upon completion of the registration forms, an invoice will be sent.
